Retrospect on the end of Naruto manga anniversary
I just wanted to put into words my feelings for the end of the manga.
You may have noticed I fell off the face of the planet on DA after the manga ended. The manga just never gave me the closer that I wanted or needed. And the anime movies just aren't my thing. It may sound hilariously sad, but I wasn't ready for the manga to end. And if I'm being even more honest as a Naruto manga fan, I'm envious of the One Piece manga fans. They are still out there on sea have the best adventures.
Even with all the 2nd time skip content... I feel there is a void in my life. Something only the naruto manga series filled. There was a ritual with the manga
Patreon is a growing website for artists to make extra cash from creating art in which their followers can buy, download and have the .PSD and sometimes videos of making the art for themselves.
It's a great idea in theory but there has also been a pretty noticeable backlash.
The first topic is whether or not you could even make money creating fan art of well known characters? Sakimi Chan is making a great deal of money doing mostly fanart creations and many have wondered how is this even legal? Isn't she making money off of a copyrighted character? There is a lot of gray area that is involved with this. The second topic is in regards to the
‘Twas the night before Christmas on DeviantArt,
Not a paintbrush was stirring, and creators took heart.
The artists scrolled through Daily Deviations with care
Knowing kindred warm-fuzzies soon would be there.
Deviants were all swiping, all snug on their phones
While visions of inspiration across all time zones
Were zapped to their smart device, quick as can be,
At the tap of a button in a +Fav’ing spree!
When across the Interwebs there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to the Comments to see what was the matter,
“I’m bored,” the Journal wrote, “I’m on a long trip, too.

I've finally watched it today.
And I liked it. Actually this was the first Naruto movie I liked so far. There were surely some flows, but generally the idea and the interpretation have somehow touched my current state of mind and soul.
I only wonder, why in the world of Naruto's dreams and wishes Jiraiya was also dead?..
Sigh...

Art School or State School?
Hey Friends, I published this on Doodle Alley already, but I thought you guys might benefit from this kind of discussion too. Let me know what you think!
Hi Stephen,
I've been (quietly) following your cartoon essays for a while--I adore them and appreciate you sharing them.
I imagine you get a lot of emails from people asking about creative direction, their meaning in life, existential angst, etc. And I know you're a cartoonist and not a licensed therapist (although hey, I never claimed to know everything about you), but I was hoping you'd be able to help me.
I'm pursuing a career in comics. I *wish* I could say that I was attending the S

The purpose of a sketch is to quickly illustrate or develop an idea you have, to capture or study some form of reference so that it can be worked on at a latter date. Because of this, the sketch only needs to convey the right information to you and you alone (unless you are drawing an idea out for a client then the message needs to be cryst
